Gala de la chanson de Caraquet
The Gala de la chanson de Caraquet is an excellent showcase and springboard for French-language singers. Its goal is to develop and promote the talent of emerging Francophone artists. Since it was founded, the Gala has given nearly 400 next-generation artists the opportunity to go up on stage and enjoy a professionally and personally enriching experience. Since the 1980s, the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet has offered workshops to participants. It is the only event of the kind in Canada to offer two series of trainings led by experienced stage professionals. It's more than a competition; it's a true school for songsters.
